Jeff Schmidt As a kid, Jeff's first major woodworking project was assisting his dad to restore an antique piano with oak veneer. Ever since, there has always been a 'project'! Over the years, jobs included: installing rain gutters and awnings, landscaping and tree trimming, custom cabinet maker and general handyman. Jeff bought his first house at 24 and remodeled it himself, learning from his mistakes along the way. Current projects include an Asian-inspired medicine cabinet, concrete kitchen countertops and (to feed his voracious appetite for flyfishing) a wooden canoe.
